An Insider’s Reflection

Savina by Bosa is Downtown San Diego’s newest luxury high-rise. Completion is anticipated for Spring 2019 and there are still some wonderful condos available! Roughly 50% of Savina is under contract with excited home buyers and construction is coming along at the site with the crown of the building underway!

Being a Property Specialist for this exclusive high-rise was an incredible experience. Our private VIP sale was held last June with prior Bosa owners. This group of loyal downtown home owners had previously purchased in a Bosa community, of which there are many Downtown. When a purchase is made directly from Bosa during construction, that owner becomes a part of this loyalist group and is rewarded with the opportunity to purchase ahead of the general public in future projects. Bosa owns several other lots in the Downtown San Diego area and I wouldn’t be surprised if plans are in the works for more future residential communities.

From 2002 to 2009 Bosa completed 8 communities around the city to include Horizons, Park Place, The Grande North & South, Legend, Discovery, Electra & Bayside. Just this year Bosa completed their first “Super Prime” community called Pacific Gate at the corner of Pacific Hwy & Broadway, complete with a full service concierge, fleet of luxury cars and a yacht in the harbor called Pacific Dream for use by the owners. Savina is along the lines of the luxury high-rise communities of the past, nearly a decade of waiting since Bayside was completed in 2009.

The architect Amanat also designed Horizons and Bayside, but Savina stands apart with its coastal contemporary vibe, clean lines & reflective facade. Savina offers 285 homes with a varietal of over 90 different floorplans. There is approximately 40,000 sq/ft of amenity space which are mostly located on levels 4 & 5. Where older buildings have more compartmentalized amenities, Savina’s are designed around a luxury resort experience. The fitness center and grilling patio overlooks the pool deck where the social lounge sits above with higher ceilings, a chef par kitchen & billiard area that spills over onto an entertaining veranda.

As a property specialist I was lucky enough to visit the site on three occasions during the first year of sales and now offer an insider approach to floorplans and view feedback. The gallery offers interactive floorplans to review where drone footage was taken at various heights. There is also a model home to tour to gain insight on finishes with two color schemes designated between remaining homes to select.

Savina is located at 1388 Kettner Blvd at the corner of Ash St. I have to disclose that as a Little Italy local I am completely bias about the location. Close to the Waterfront Parks, Farmers Market, and the up and coming Pacific Gateway & Portside Pier, Savina is where the city meets the bay and provides an unparalleled location for the urban lifestyle.
